Looking Forward to Making Memories With You

From Ms. to Mrs.

This past Saturday, I got married to the Love of my Life and now dear Husband, Sean. I have to admit the weather forecast was making me a bit nervous, especially when reports of a possible tornado came about. However, God is great and it was a beautiful day, after a few showers in the morning and early afternoon. It flew by and truly was the happiest day of my life.

Always Blessed

I could not have chosen a better life partner and cannot wait to see what our future brings. We were very satisfied with all of our vendors and are happy with how everything turned out. We feel so blessed and grateful for all of our family and friends who attended to share our special day with us!

I realize now that getting laid off, each time has been a blessing in disguise. On the surface, it seemed that I had lost a steady pay cheque but underneath it all, it pushed me to greater places. If I had not got laid off the first time, I would still be working at a job that did not provide me any challenges and I would be miserable and feeling so useless and probably would still be in Alberta, struggling to save up and pay the bills, all while being away from family and friends. The second time I got laid off, I learned that money comes and goes. Although I was making a substantial amount more, I was smart and diligent with my spending. In the end, my now husband and I were able to move back to Ontario to be closer to family and friends and we were also able to purchase an investment property together. It just goes to show you that sacrifices are not taken for granted and that life is what you make it.

1000 Thank You’s

With that being said, I can’t thank those near and dear to my heart for making our big day possible, Shout out to my amazing bridal party and sister who ensured everything went smoothly, I cannot believe how fast the roce, rehearsal, night before and day of the wedding went. I would not be who I am today, without you, so thank you. It was so nice seeing you for 4 consecutive days and I will cherish the fun times forever.

To be marrying your best friend is one thing, to be marrying your best friend on your 8 year anniversary together, is something else. I am so happy and thankful we came into each other’s lives I can’t wait to start this journey called marriage with you. I love you more every day and am truly blessed….I can now proudly cross off #188 and #205 on my Life List.

Stay strong and beautiful!

Crossing Off #202!

Each and everyday I try to do at least ONE thing that will help me achieve an item off of my Life List. Whether it be taking a few minutes to read about finances and review my own to ensure my financial future is on track, or doing a few extra push ups to become fit, or just taking the initiative to make someone else’s day better and by simply taking any action to ensure that my future is bright; I am really focusing on creating a life for myself. I achieved one of my personal/relationship goals; to be a Bridesmaid/Maid of Honour. This past weekend one of my best friend’s got married, and I was her Maid of Honour.

The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. The venue was very scenic and the newly married couple couldn’t have looked more gorgeous. Thank you for allowing me to take part in your special day. It was very interesting to witness your traditions especially your tea ceremony and traditional attire. I am so happy that you have found the man of your dreams. Congratulations H & K! I wish you a long, happy marriage that is full of love and joy.
